Product Description
Don't be fooled by imitations. Our coffee is direct from Ethiopia.

Ethiopia is the birthplace of coffee from which it derives its name. Coffee drinking is a favorite pastime in Ethiopia. It is a time when bonds are formed between neighbors and friends and communities come together to discuss the day's events or problems. Today at the Abyssinian Market we offer our visitors an opportunity to create their own sense of community in the same way Ethiopian's have done for centuries.

Ethiopianís flavor coffee with sea salt, butter, or different spices. We offer traditional organic Ethiopian coffees spiced with such flavors as ginger, sea salt with rue, cinnamon and clove, fenugreek, and cardamom. Drinking coffee with cardamom is a known aphrodisiac and Abyssinians put rue in coffee to relieve migraine headaches and menstrual cramps.

All our coffees are of the highest quality, shade grown, organic and roasted in the open air. Abyssinians use the open-air method because it does not extract the oil for an unparalleled and flavorful cup of coffee.

Available in 1lb bags.
